If you’re the lead car, be patient, sometimes lapped traffic will favour you and sometimes it will not. It is strongly recommended that a slower car being lapped makes every reasonable effort to facilitate a safe pass. It is the responsibility of the slower car to maintain a consistent line into the corners (If you are going to allow a faster car up the inside into a corner then make it very obvious). In all cases, it is the responsibility of the faster car to safely overtake the slower car. If that means you cannot get past then that’s the luck of the draw. If you are faster and able to unlap yourself from a leader it is within your rights to do so, but please do keep in mind to do it safely and not interrupt any battles that are a lap ahead of you. If you are faster and are able to increase the gap that is within your rights to do so.If you are found to hold up lead cars then it can be flagged by other drivers in the incident reports, you will be advised of the above rules and if you continue to hold up lead cars then this league is not for you. It doesn’t cost you too much time (for example moving to the side on a straight and blending out of the throttle). It’s safe to do so (safe and non safe places will be included in the drivers briefing). You are expected to let the leaders past if: *That isn’t to say you don’t have to let the leaders past, only that the flag comes up when they are within about 1.5 seconds of you. A blue flag with a diagonal yellow stripe indicates faster cars are approaching. The GT3 League is governed where appropriate by the iRacing Sporting Code Please read and understand: ħ.4.1.
